Last Sunday's Message
Book Club at Broadway Is Taking a Field Trip

Book Club at Broadway Is Taking a Field Trip

On, Tuesday September 15 the Book Club at Broadway UMC will be taking their meeting to the patio at the Central Library in Omaha. Our title for the day is Aldo Leopold's "Sand County Almanac." We will meet at 10 am. From there we plan to stop and walk the labyrinth at First United Methodist Church.  Carpooling from Broadway will be available, so please reach out to me at teresaf@broadwayunitedmethodist.com if you would like a ride. If you wish, there is a Zen Coffee inside the library.

We invite anyone to join. You will especially enjoy us if you find that being in creation brings you in the presence of the Creator. The group regularly meets at 10:00 AM monthly on third Tuesday in the DeLong Lounge.  Occasionally we step outside and find meeting space outside. Conversations are organic as our reading leads us to sharing our own stories and experiences.

If you have any questions or need help finding a book, feel free to contact me at the email above. In case of rain or storms, we will meet in the DeLong Lounge.

Block Party Volunteering
Broadway's annual Block Party brings us and our neighbors together to share the best of community. And, we know the best part of Broadway is found in it's people. Just as we greet each other on Sunday mornings, let's expand that greeting by providing hospitality and conversation with the people in our neighborhood. To sign up to help at the Block Party, complete this [form].
