Friends, As many of you know, Broadway is working with Horizons Stewardship to determine whether or not to move forward on a capital campaign. We have done a great deal of work behind the scenes and before we go any further, we need your feedback! Please take a moment to fill out the linked survey before September 15th in order to ensure your voice is included in this important conversation. Thank you in advance, and may we continue to look toward the future God is calling us into! Your brother on the journey, Pastor Brian For more infomation visit:

Hope and CommunityPull Up a Chair - Chapter 2 - Thursday, September 3, 2026 I promised you more stories of community. For this installment of the blog series, I found Hope in community through the introduction of something colorful added to our space. And, ironically the main characher is actually someone named Hope. So pull up a chair and we will begin... Pencil Story by Mindi and Hope Jenson One day we were back to school shopping and Hope saw some very colorful pencils. She immediately wanted them. Since pencils were not on her supply list I asked her “what do you want them for?” She replied “I want them for church! I want to get them for the seats.” I asked her “Do you mean for the pews where you sit with daddy?” She said “Yes! They’re long and colorful. Can we get a lot for everyone to use?” In awe of her thoughtfulness I couldn’t refuse her. She chose one package of each of the colorful ones and placed them in the cart with a huge smile on her tiny little face. She was beaming with happiness that she was going to share bright colors with all of her friends at church. She turned to me and said “Thank you Mommy! I think everyone will love it.” I agreed with her and praised her for her generosity and she gave me a huge hug. A couple days later I had praise band practice and ran into Pastor Brian and told him the brief story. He said he would make sure that the bright colorful pencils would be distributed in the sanctuary. Hope was very happy to see her gift for everyone to use. I took the cue from her and brought in some for the praise band to use when we make notes on our music. The bright colorful pencils are helping to bring joy all around. Hope couldn’t be more excited than to bring smiles to everyone’s faces. A little gesture of kindness truly does go a long way. Thank you to everyone that has helped us to show Hope that kindness is what the world needs. She is growing too fast for my mommy heart, but seeing her impact on the world warms my heart. We couldn’t be more proud of the little girl she’s becoming. In Conclusion Thank you, Hope and Mindi. As you take your seat during worship, we think you will notice that the little things can be a source of hope and joy. And thank you to Sue Marie, who made sure the pencils were sharpened and available for everyone. If you see a story that you feel we can share with the congregation, please contact me. I can maybe help put the pieces together. Help us let Broadway's light shine. For more infomation visit:
